FlexDSL offers a Network Management System (NMS) for its FlexGain platform that can be used for single systems only, or easily be integrated into existing SNMP based management networks such as Castlerock SNMPc or HP OpenView.

The FlexGain Terminal Control Unit (TCU) acts as SNMP agent for the complete FlexGain platform and provides connectivity for local (VT-100), remote (Telnet), and SNMP management and alarming. It supports not only the DSL line card, but also the CPE, repeaters as well as any other FlexGain device available. The TCU offers an integrated 4 port Ethernet switch for easy access and a number of internal and external alarm relays that allow the integration of additional devices such as power supplies, air conditioners, and security systems into the management system.
